My Life's Calling

I was born in Borden, Saskatchewan. So many good memories. There were so many positives to small-town living in the 60's and 70's. It was a sheltered life which too can be positive. But when I moved away and went to Bible School I came to realize that the world is so much bigger than knowing the leading scorer in the local hockey league or the number one hit song on the radio that year.

In fact, God called me to a much bigger world, to a much bigger picture. He called me to be a linguist/literacy worker with Wycliffe Bible Translators. How I came to BE that is a story in and of itself, and a beautiful one at that. God so burdened my heart for the lost that I could not turn back.

So, for the past 25 years that is what I have been, that is what I am, that is what I do. He gave me the perfect partner to do it with and that is what we do together. It's a team effort that requires perseverance and commitment...and it is not over. It's a life calling and it is good.
